The aim for this project was to convert the Odeon on Harcourt Street (an existing commercial building) and adapt it to a multi level spanish retail unit Sfera.The retail unit is a lifestyle store consisting of 6 departments : Fragrance department, Homeware department, Ladies fashion, Mens fashion, Accessories and Coffee shop.For the design concept I looked at the history of Harcourt Street Building as it used to be a train station, which led me to be inspired by train tracks.I looked at the different routes ,angles and patterns they created which enabled me to develop up my ideas to create merchandise display units by using linnear forms creating different angles and turns.This can be seen throughout each department as the customer moves around the store.
